Strategic Insights for Capital Growth: Family Office Forum on Business Succession and Investments
Tommy and Ravi, attended The Family Office Luncheon & Forum in Hong Kong on August 29th, 2025. This event was proudly hosted by Female Entrepreneurs Worldwide (FEW) and FutureOneMENA. As Asia's largest business platform for women, FEW is committed to building a trusted ecosystem for female entrepreneurs and executives. The forum was co-hosted by FutureOneMENA, a pioneering investment intelligence platform founded by Dr. Anina Ho, which empowers family offices with next-generation agentic AI technology. The forum delved into critical topics for wealth preservation and growth, including family business succession, regional business expansion, alternative investments, and emerging opportunities in the new economy. It provided an invaluable platform for connecting with well-established business owners, next-generation leaders, and family offices from Hong Kong, Mainland China, the UAE, and beyond. Stephen Ye visited Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and held a business meeting with Mr. Jonathan Beardall, Head of Asset and Wealth Management at the Centre. The meeting focused on the core needs of businesses expanding cross-border operations. Stephen emphasized three key areas: first, the Dubai financial market landscape and the latest developments in family office practices, to grasp market opportunities and industry trends; second, the current operations and strategic layout of Hong Kong financial institutions in Dubai, providing a reference for business implementation; and third, Dubai's financial regulatory policies, compliance requirements, and specific support policies for family offices, clarifying compliance boundaries and policy benefits. Both parties exchanged views on leveraging the advantages of the international financial center, integrating resources, and promoting synergy between cross-border asset allocation and family office business, exploring practical entry points for cooperation to deepen business collaboration and achieve mutual benefits.
Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai
Stephen Ye visited Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai (HKETO Dubai) in August, where he held a meeting with Mr. Chan Sheung Man(Simon), Director of HKETO Dubai, and Ms. Maha AZMY, Deputy Director of Business, Talent Attraction and Investment Promotion at the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED). During the meeting, based on the business layout of his Hong Kong-based family office, Stephen focused on in-depth exchanges with both parties on topics including the integration of resources between Hong Kong family offices and the Dubai financial market, the business expansion and service implementation of family offices in both the Middle East and Hong Kong, as well as the exploration and cooperation of two-way financial investment projects.

Mr. Cheung, Managing Director of YYFO, was invited to deliver a keynote address at the Julius Baer Private Wealth Dialogue. Drawing from YYFO’s extensive experience in serving ultra-high-net-worth families, he shared insights on multi-jurisdictional risk mitigation, private banking collaboration models, and long-term capital preservation strategies.
